The event looks like a mini concert by selling the cheapest price ticket.
UTAR Chinese Society of organized a Chinese Cultural night, spending more than RM10, 000 for the preparation for one and half year.
The purpose of this event was to push up the moral value in Chinese cultural and
reviving a sense of propriety, justice, honesty and honor.

As the theme suggested, culture-related performances are presented to the audiences, from martial arts and Chinese Orchestra from the Wushu club. They even included some modern performances such as beatboxing In-Stru-Mix by the Music club.
They tried to perform the best for those attendants. It looked that the ambiance of surrounding was nice. In deep-observation, they did not paying full attention for all performances.
However, there was nothing can compare in the great response from audiences while the celebrity was singing. They were excited, and screamed for the show. The crowd caused the scene beyond of the control.  It was good deed of attracting more people to attend the event.
The selling point they made was the Victor Wong’s fame, which is no relationship between the cultures. In other words, it caused the conflict with the Chinese culture. What’s for approximately 2,000 students attend this event? Are they were paying attention to comprehend the essence of the cultural performance? Or just go for the celebrity show?  After seeing the Victor’s performance, the crowded of people were dismissed after he left.
Apparently, it enhances the publicity for the event. People are most interested with the celebrity show rather than the main leading of culture performance especially for the young generation. They are less concern regarding the Chinese cultural with deeply understanding. If it happens continuously, the Chinese tradition cultural would be submerging.
